Foodlink's History & Company profile

Foodlink is a Trading Company, founded in 1991 by Johannes Woudstra, utilising his experience and knowledge concerning the Supply of Rice Crackers from the Far East on one hand with the Demand for the same in most Western European markets on the other.

Over the years the supplier base, product range and customer base have expanded in various directions, although Foodlink is still very much concentrating on specialised items and product groups. Next to bulk products, the rice crackers portfolio has been extended into retail packs under own Brands as well.

Foodlink provides its customers a link to sources for rice based snacks and crackers, extruded and sheeted snack pellets as well as related products from the Far East. At the same time Foodlink provides its principal suppliers a link to the western snack markets in Europe.

Foodlink is a low cost trading concern, sourcing in Asia and marketing and selling in Europe, operating from its unique location at the historical port of Harlingen in The Netherlands.

Supply chain solutions

Foodlink offers efficient supply chain solutions to customers such as leading snack industries, wholesalers, distributors and retailers. Products are shipped from Asia by sea containers to our (bonded) warehouses in Rotterdam for storage until customer’s call off.
